The industry leader in digital innovation, Liberty IT, has appointed Emma Mullan as the Senior Director of Talent.
Emma joined the company in 2013 and has held several positions during this time including Talent Business Partner, HR Operations Manager, Talent & Development Manager and most recently Director – Talent Management. She is also co-Executive Co-Sponsor of Liberty IT’s Women in Tech employee resource group.
The senior appointment comes during a period of sustained growth for Liberty IT which creates software, service and solutions for its parent company, Liberty Mutual Insurance, in support of its world-leading insurance products and services.
In her new role, Emma will lead the Talent and Communications function and will be actively involved in the overall business strategy and direction as a member of the senior leadership team.
Emma Mullan said: “I am thrilled to have been appointed as the Senior Director of Talent at Liberty IT. It’s a very exciting time for the company as we continue on the growth trajectory that we have been on over the last number of years. We have incredible talent, which is front and centre of our business and that, alongside the support from our parent organisation, Liberty Mutual, is what sets us apart. Our cutting-edge ways of working can be seen in the way we recruit, engage and retain our employees and this will ensure we are well placed to support the company’s next stage of growth.
My new role is a prime example of how Liberty IT supports and develops its people to help them progress through the company and reach their maximum potential and it is a privilege to now head up the Talent function in a company that really cares about its employees.
Tony Marron, Managing Director of Liberty IT said: “It has been a pleasure to watch Emma progress through Liberty IT over the last nine years and we are thrilled to appoint her as the new Senior Director of Talent. I am confident that she will help us further strengthen and develop our strategy to ensure we continue to attract the best tech talent across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.”
